On the subject of being busy, this is something that I am really struggling with right now! I could probably write up a whole post about being busy (if I had the time), but I won't right now. Just know that I work part time from home and have 3 young children. I am feeling pulled in many different directions at one time! There is always work to be done, dishes to be done, laundry to be done, things to take the kids to do, dinner to cook, house to clean, lawn to mow, and exercise to fit in! So if I can MAKE the time to get in a good workout (or 2) almost every day and make healthy meals than so can you. I only say this to motivate all of you to MAKE the time for yourselves!
Since the beginning of August last year, I have been keeping track of my weight every week. At least for the most part ;) I skipped some weeks in October, November, December and February (see gaps in chart.) I wasn't completely on board until the beginning of March. During August and September (when I was consistent) I dropped 10.2 pounds! While being inconsistent October-February, I gained back 5.3 pounds. I have been consistent since the beginning of March and have been consistently dropping weight! In about March, I decided to put the information into a chart form to get a better look at it. This is what it looks like (after adding in today's weight which I will share with you on Monday!) This has been a great way to stay motivated! Seeing the line on that chart drop lower and lower has been really exciting to me! Another motivation has been keeping track of my weight loss with beads in a jar. (I use 1 bead per every 0.2 pounds.) I found this on Pinterest and just had to do it! It wasn't fun when I had to add beads at first or when I have had to put beads back into the "pounds to go" jar. Now that I get to move a lot to the "pounds lost" every week, it is pretty motivating! What motivates you? I have been staying consistent with the June Ab Challenge and have done it every Monday-Saturday! How are all of you doing with the Challenge? I also just finished Day 11 of the 30 Day Shred. I missed the first Friday and Wednesday of this week on the 30 Day Shred, but am still feeling good about my progress. I had planned on getting in 5 days per week for 6 weeks, but I have gotten too busy and so it is going to take me a bit longer than those 6 weeks to get in my 30 Days! I will still get in 30 Days of it, though, just not straight! On the subject of being busy, this is something that I am really struggling with right now! The bead idea is great. An awesome visual and that icky part of having to put the bead if you gain. I got through 4 days of the ab challenge and stopped. I am making excuses- Jacob's practice, a late night working since I took time off during the day for something else, etc. Plus it was really HARD!! Thanks for motivating me and I will get back on it.

Glad you like the idea. Good job making it through 4 days of the challenge, but now it is time to jump right back in!! You're right, that Ab Challenge IS really HARD!! Just MAKE that time for it and push yourself through it (even if you need to take a break in between!) I can't make it through ALL of the pushups at once, so I do half and give myself a few seconds break and than do the other half. Can't wait to hear back from you that you've done the challenge!
