Now that I am done with the Half Marathon and all of the training for it, I have been trying to decide what it is that is going to keep me going. The answer I came to is perseverance! Perseverance is defined as:
"steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success."
I have really been struggling with my eating and getting in workouts lately. I have only been running about once a week since the Half Marathon. I have been eating out and snacking a lot more, too. This has all "delayed" me from achieving success in my weight loss. I am up about 4 pounds since the last time I reported my weight on here back at the end of September!
My measurements are ALL the same as the last time I reported them on here way back on July 2nd!!
Biceps- 12
Waist- 32.5
Hips- 40
Thighs- 21
Calves- 14
So I need to become "steadfast" in eating healthier and exercising during this difficulty.

I decided to sign up for a couple of blog challenges in order to try to keep myself on track. The first one is Run Eat Repeat's Pile on the Miles. I have signed up to log in 45 miles of running for the month of November. I will stay on target if I get in my 5 mile weekend run and 3 mile weekday runs every week. Wish me luck because I have been sleeping in and skipping my weekday runs lately!
The next challenge I signed up for is The Fit Train's Fit 4 Christmas. This one will hopefully keep me in line with my eating all the way up to Christmas. This time of year is terribly hard on me when it comes to eating healthy! I love to bake! I love to stay inside and snuggle up on the couch with a cup of coffee! I love to snack while watching TV or movies at night with my hubby! Oh sweet Jesus help me now!
So what are you doing to keep the weight off this Holiday season? Let's help hold each other accountable!
