After failing to track my food (and having too hard of a time trying to remember what all I ate), I have decided to just give a quick overview of the last week this time around. Hopefully I will start posting daily (or at least a couple times a week) with my workouts and what food I have eaten with actual calorie counts and pictures.
Friday (August 1st) I went into Boise for the day. I ate a Blimpie sandwich with chips and a soda for lunch. Then I went to hang out with my sister and nieces. We went out to Red Robin for dinner. I had my usual Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries with a water and treated myself to an Oreo Shake. After dinner we headed to the Hippie Glow Run 5K. We had a blast!
I spent the night at my sister's house and spent Saturday doing some shopping. It was a great relaxed day for me! I had coffee with creamer and an English muffin with butter for breakfast. I went to a seafood place for lunch and had a cup of clam chowder and a grilled salmon sandwich with fries and a Pepsi. That night for dinner I cooked spaghetti with meatballs.
Sunday became busy because I was trying to get a head start on work for the week. I don't even remember what I had for breakfast or lunch, but I remember that we went out for Mexican food that night for dinner. I had chips with guacamole followed by steak tacos with beans and rice and a Dr Pepper.
Monday I decided that I would just focus on getting in my 3 runs this week and not worry about doing Jillian's Body Revolution workouts in the evenings because I was working so hard and such long hours. I had an English muffin and picked up a Mocha on the way to meet my friend for Bible Study. I picked up McDonalds on my way home for lunch before starting in on my pile of work. I had a chicken wrap with medium fries and a medium Coke. We had chicken quesadillas for dinner. I'm not sure what I snacked on that night, but probably something. I've been snacking in the evenings again pretty bad.
Tuesday I got up and took Oreo for a 4 mile run and she loved it. So did I! It got my day started off on the right foot. It was another busy work day so I started it off with a cup of coffee with creamer and an egg sandwich. I made a couple of peanut butter and honey sandwiches for myself at lunch time. Then I got my kids registered for school. I made a quick pizza with meatballs for dinner. That night we watched a movie and I snacked on some pita puffs and a Coke and a Mounds. I finished the night off with a glass of wine.
Wednesday I had another egg sandwich for breakfast with a cup of coffee with creamer and a banana. I was all busy with work again so I popped some taquitos in the oven for lunch and a burrito. I didn't eat most of the burrito, though. For a yummy snack, I stopped and got a Frappe. My husband made wraps for dinner. I ended up having a bowl of granola with some milk for a late snack.
Thursday I skipped my sprints on the treadmill because I had a hair appointment. I grabbed a banana and a quick cup of coffee with creamer for breakfast before heading out. I snacked on turkey and crackers while putting together the kids' lunch. Than I snacked more on some Fritos in the pantry. Than I had a bowl of my kids' sugary chocolate marshmallow cereal. I just could not stop myself from eating! 😳 I got myself under control and made myself a salad with some chicken on it for lunch. But than an hour later I wanted to snack again. So I made half of a toasted tomato sandwich. For dinner we had sloppy joes with fries and I made myself a glass of ice tea with honey. I also had a glass of wine to finish out the night.
Friday I got up and took Oreo for a quick 1 mile run to get out some of her energy. I splurged a bit for breakfast and had 2 waffles with peanut butter and syrup and a cup of coffee with creamer. Than we had Burger King for lunch. I had a Whopper with cheese and half of a medium fry and a bit of Coke and a caramel frappe. Dinner was our usual pizza. I had 3 slices of a small Extravaganza and a Dr Pepper.
Saturday I got up early for my long 8 mile run. It went really well. I was a bit nervous about the length at first, but really surprised myself. My hubby grabbed donuts for breakfast which was a nice treat after such a long run. We than stopped by the farmers market, but didn't find anything there. We headed to Boise after that to go school clothes shopping for the kids. We stopped at Chipotle for lunch. I got a steak salad and had a few chips with guacamole and a Coke. After a long day of shopping, I snacked on an Atkins bar. We opted for a quick dinner of eggs, bacon, and toast. I made another cup of coffee with creamer to go with my breakfast dinner. After the kids went to bed we watched a show and I snacked on Fritos with bean dip and finished the Dr Pepper from the night before.
Sunday was a more laid back sleep in kind of day. I had an English muffin with butter, a Greek yogurt, and a cup of coffee with creamer for breakfast. After getting the kids their lunch, I had a few bites of their turkey and than started working. Once again it is a busy week and I was trying to get a head start. While working I snacked on half a donut and made myself an iced coffee with creamer. I also had about 3 tator tots when my hubby made those for himself. For dinner I went out on a date with my hubby. We had Red Lobster! I had a cup of clam chowder, 3 biscuits, half of a lobster pizza, a Dr Pepper, and most of a slice of cheesecake. Wow that was a lot of food! We went to watch a movie and than stopped by Sonic for a shake afterwards. I chose the chocolate hazelnut and it was yummy!! I also had a cherry limeade. I can't seem to go to Sonic without getting a cherry limeade! Oh well.
I see now that I really need to work on my nighttime snacking and maybe cut back on my coffee with creamer!
