I also had another great personal victory today. I went for my run this morning and finished day 2 of week 5 of the C25K program. It has you warm up for 5 minutes and than run for 8 minutes and than walk for 5 minutes and than run for 8 minutes again and finish up with a 5 minute cool down. I ran for 8 minutes straight! I have never run that long in my life! To some of you that may not sound like a very big deal, but it sure was to me! I have tried to do the C25K program before and have never made it past the 3rd week where it has you run for only up to 3 minutes at a time. In the 4th week it has you run for 5 minutes at a time and I have always talked myself out of being able to run for 5 minutes straight. I never believed that I could do it and so I never even tried! Well I have proven myself wrong by not only running 5 minutes straight, but now 8 minutes straight as well! I really do feel like I am on fire!
