After having such a large weight loss and hitting the 170's, I have had a hard time keeping my head "in the game" (so to speak). I'm not really sure how to explain it. I haven't really slipped up or anything. It hasl just seemed harder for me to stay on top of things. Here is how I have been struggling along:
-I ran 1 mile on Saturday to break in my new shoes even though I didn't feel like running at all.
-I have still been tracking all of my food and not gone over my daily calories, but have not eaten the healthiest foods or tracked it until usually the end of the day.
-I only ran 2.85 miles on Monday morning even though I had planned on getting in the whole 3.1 miles (had trouble pushing through with a numb foot), but than did the 30 Day Shred DVD in the afternoon.
-Yesterday, I did the 30 Day Shred DVD in the morning and than made it to Zumba last night even though I was almost late and had just eaten pasta for dinner.
See? Nothing horrible, but not as well as I have been doing. I am just finding it hard to ALWAYS have to be ON TOP of my eating and exercise. An adjustment in my head I am still working on. It is hard to continually battle with yourself between what you would LIKE to do and what you really SHOULD do.
I started off today with a much better mind frame. This morning, I ran 3.1 miles and it felt really good! I felt like I really got into a groove and my eating has been really good today also! So I guess you could say that I have made it back "into the game"! Bring on more healthy eating, more exercising, and more weight loss! I am in the 170's now, but not for long!
