Last night was date night for me and my hubby. We drop our kids off at the church for Awanas every Wednesday night and go out for dinner and than sometimes dessert at TCBY. Last night we decided to go to Wingers. I wasn't feeling like my usual chicken tacos so I ordered the Sticky Finger dinner with a side salad (dressing on the side). I knew I was in even more trouble , though, when my hubby ordered onion rings to start with. I only had one, but still it was not good for me. The waiter also didn't put my dressing on the side for me and I was too polite to send it back. So a good 1,000 calories (or more) later we headed out of there to finish our date at TCBY. Ugh! At least it is frozen yogurt, but it was still another 100 calories! When will I ever learn to be able to resist all these things?
Today I have eaten good, though. I only had a coffee from a coffee shop this morning while I was getting my hair trimmed. I had a Subway sandwich for lunch and picked up another for dinner. Tonight will be a bit rushed due to my son's Kindergarten concert. We will have our dinner early and then head out for the concert. Then get the kids ready for bed. Which leads me to my next dilemma. I usually do my strength training in the morning and my Zumba class after dinner, but have had to miss both today. How do I fit it all in?!? I guess I will just have to do a workout after the kids go to bed. I'm also thinking about pulling out my Jillian's 30 Day Shred DVD to do tomorrow even though Fridays are usually my rest day. After last night's dinner and missing my normal workouts today, I don't feel like I can take that rest day tomorrow.
